An important meeting took place at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Germany in Frankfurt with several African NOCs to discuss the 

current situation in Olympic-style boxing and the roadmap for involving new African National Federations in WORLD BOXING mission to secure boxing’s place in the Olympic Movement.

My gratitude to the Deutscher Boxsport-Verband e.V. Secretary General and World Boxing Executive Board member Michael Müller, as well as the German team manager for international relations, Martin Volke, for their excellent organization and the massive part of work they have done to facilitate this productive dialogue.

I’d also like to thank the World Boxing Olympic Commission for supporting this discussion which, I believe, will have positive consequences.
