Boxing is a sport that unites people worldwide, and I firmly believe it has a bright future ahead.
Boxing is deeply rooted in Mongolian culture, playing a key role in promoting a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation.
This was a central point in my meeting today with Nomin Chinbat, Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia.
I extend my sincere thanks to Minister Chinbat who was also a former Vice-President of the Mongolian Boxing Federation for her contribution to our sports.
We had a productive discussion on the social impact of boxing, the success of the WORLD BOXING Cup Ulaanbaatar 2024, and the vital mission of preserving boxing in the Olympic Movement.
I was particularly inspired by the Mongolian government's commitment to supporting National Team athletes, identifying new talent, and encouraging a healthier lifestyle across the country.
