Every year, the Register for Association Directors conducts national research into the financial situation of sports associations and the affordability of sports.
In 2024, 500 association directors were asked about the financial status of their sports club. Daniel Klijn, director at the RVVB, is shocked by the results: 'We have been conducting this survey for a long time; Never before have we seen such worrying results. We cannot deny that something is going very wrong.”
