I would like to take you through my view on leadership, building on my previous post. 🚀
Leadership is not about you. We hear it so often: “Leadership must be authentic.”
But let's be honest... isn't that just an excuse to stay within your own comfort zone? “This isn't me.”
“This doesn't feel good.” “I do it my way.” Leadership is not about what is comfortable for you. It's about what your team needs to work effectively and grow.
About what the organization needs to grow, optimize, work more effectively and achieve results.
Sometimes that means switching gears. Step out of your own preferences. Using a style that does not feel natural, but does work, is effective and is necessary!
Because a truly strong leader does not ask himself the question:
“What feels good for me?” But: “What does my team need now to grow, perform and feel challenged?”
🏹Leadership is not a mirror, it is a lever.
