I’m happy to announce that the 2024 U19 World Boxing Championships will take place in Colorado, USA. It’s a special moment for the World Boxing family as it will be the first major competition in the history of our organization.

From October 25th to November 5th in the city of Pueblo, Colorado, men and women boxers aged 17 and 18 will compete across all 20 weight categories. We will definitely witness spectacular battles of the future boxing superstars.

I would like to congratulate USA Boxing as well as to express my gratitude. I am certain that Chair Tyson Lee and his team will do everything to stage a world class event for the boxers and boxing fans across the globe. WORLD BOXING team is also eager to ensure a high quality delivery.

One year ago, 28 National Boxing Federations came together in Frankfurt where WORLD BOXING held its inaugural Congress.

Today, I am pleased to announce the World Boxing Equipment Licence Programme, which will ensure the highest safety standards for boxers in training and competition. This is another major step forward in transforming boxing, with more to come in the near future.

Boxing is a sport that unites people worldwide, and I firmly believe it has a bright future ahead.

Boxing is deeply rooted in Mongolian culture, playing a key role in promoting a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation. This was a central point in my meeting today with Nomin Chinbat, Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia.
