Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the beautiful boxing event in Utrecht.

Hosted at the open-air BetCity Arena, which was constructed specially for the event in the center of the city, the event featured a mix of Olympic-style boxing matchups between
the Netherlands and Germany, as well as pro-boxing fights, headlined by Dutch rising star Gradus Kraus.
Zaterdag 31 mei had Neptunus-Schiebroek haar 125-jarig jubileum gevierd met diverse activiteiten op het complex.

Op zondagochtend 4 mei was bij RVV Blijdorp de officiรซle kick-off van de Pilot Weekendvoetbal. Dit is een initiatief van een aantal Rotterdamse voetbalverenigingen, de Gemeente Rotterdam en Rotterdam Sportsupport om een deel van de jeugdwedstrijden op zondag te spelen.

It feels like such a sweet week and of course Iโm very happy and proud,โ Boris van der Vorst says as, in his role as the president and one of the founders of World Boxing, he takes a rare break to reflect on a mighty achievement. Just over two years ago, boxing had been struck off the initial programme for the Los Angeles Games in 2028 and it was about to be banished entirely from the Olympic movement. It was then that Van der Vorst set about establishing a new regulatory body to replace the discredited International Boxing Association.
