Why am I a Soroptimist? In 2018 I was asked by a good friend. Actually, I didn't know anything about Soroptimism and I first went to see it three evenings and felt at home. In 2023, I spontaneously responded to the vacancy of Assessor at the Union Board. After a few conversations they wanted me. Now I had to believe it too. I have been on a board before, so that shouldn't be a problem. And it isn't. What a nice group of enthusiastic women. Together we will make something beautiful out of it.

I have been product responsible for the ZORG-AB (care address book) for 2 years. Making healthcare a little more beautiful is my passion. In addition to implementing it at XIS suppliers, I am fully committed to helping healthcare providers/care providers supplement the data together in order to increase the added value of the ZORG-AB. In the previous years, I worked in the Westland region to implement digitalization among general practitioners, pharmacies and paramedics. Many topics have been discussed. A lot of attention has been paid to connecting to the MedMij appointment system. The region has therefore achieved the national goals.

What is my motto?

I am not a feminist at heart, but I believe that women should care for and stand up for each other. I am happy to commit myself to that. What inspires me? I'm still learning a lot, but that makes it fun and I soak it all up. Another great part of my position in the Union board is that you get to know a lot of new women and I have already had the opportunity to meet some beautiful, interesting women during this first period. An extra nice extra that inspires me. I am eagerly looking forward to what the near future will bring me.

Work

I work four days as a Product Manager in the healthcare segment for the Healthcare Address Book. In healthcare, there is a lot of direct messaging between healthcare providers. For example, sending prescriptions, research requests or referrals. To enable the sender to address a recipient, a healthcare address book is crucial. This address book must be managed, renewed and expanded. This requires many conversations and a lot of elaboration. I also coordinate the addition of their own address details by healthcare providers and much more.

What do I want to call on Soroptimists to do?

In beautiful Rotterdam where I was born and raised, next year there will be the Inspirada 2025 with the theme 'Strong Women'. Together with the clubs Beneden Maas, Rotterdam, Rotterdam-Schieland and Hoeksche Waard/IJsselmonde, we are working on an inspiring program full of strong women. I call on everyone to come to Rotterdam on June 14 and experience an inspiring day together.
