Ton van Loon comes from an entrepreneurial family, has continued that tradition himself, and has been an entrepreneur for over 30 years now.

Born on November 27, 1967, in The Hague, where my parents owned a vegetable shop. At a young age, my father took me to the Hague Vegetable Market to make purchases. That was my first experience with trading. At the age of 10, I moved to Gouda, where my parents started a Bar Dancing establishment. I completed Vwo (pre-university education) and then had the idea of becoming a physiotherapist for a professional football club. The program was full, so I informed my parents that I would help for a year with the establishment of their new business, namely a party center. And I never left...

I had a fairly normal childhood, went through school, and had part-time jobs such as car washing, seasonal work at a cleaning company, and working in the hospitality industry. The biggest change in my life was deciding to work with my parents for one year, which turned into 22 years. My parents gave me the opportunity to gradually take over the business. In 1993, my wife and I bought half of the company. In 1995, we became full owners, and in 2003, we also purchased the property from my parents.
 

At the age of forty, I felt it was time for a different direction. We sold our Party Center & Catering business at its peak in 2008, and the business property was leased to the buyer. Being service-oriented and wanting to make people happy, we started a business gift company called Klasse, where we exclusively supplied various gift brands to corporate gift companies. As we received more requests from companies to provide complete solutions, CadeauXperts.nl was established in 2014.

Around the same time, I also began volunteering and serving as a board member for the charity organization Het Weerstandfonds. This exposed me to many medical professionals who already highlighted the dangers of bacteria and viruses. In 2015, I started another business, Lights4Health, where we provide disinfection solutions based on UV-C light.

For the future, my focus will be on expanding and future-proofing CadeauXperts, and possibly passing it on to the new generation of Van Loon.
