A good conversation with consequences.
A good conversation with consequences.
Suddenly I am at the CIC talking to Erna Truijens, Carolien van Wersch and Sayida Goedhoop. The conversation is about the event that will be organized on March 9.
The conversation is about how it is sometimes so enormously complicated to apply for all the funds and subsidies. That sometimes there are hours of work in an application of, for example, โฌ2000,= and that we would like this to be easier. Starting from the principle of trust, instead of the principle people do not know how to spend this money properly and safely.
Someone told me about neighborhood fathers who need โฌ1800,= for a project and therefore have to fill in various forms for this and therefore lose the courage to start the project a bit.
There is a fantastic group of ladies who work for various charities, equity funds or are very visible and well-known in the city. Together they want to ensure that there is a joint vision in which we strengthen the city, make it socially and financially sound. We do this by creating a joint vision in which we work together smartly and on the basis of trust. Joining forces and reaching those who do the work.
I say we, because I am proud that I can now be a member of this movement.
Want to participate? Then come to the meeting on March 9 between 2 and 5 p.m. at the bakery workshop, Nieuwe Binnenweg 223-B.
Thanks Laurens van Wesep for that coffee appointment that made these connections.
