Monday Master Blog: Stress and burnout, ideal ways to lose weight effectively?
As a personal trainer I notice the impact of stress on the body and weight on a daily basis. Several people I coach notice that they lose a lot of weight due to stress. You could say that stress and burnout are good for weight loss!
Although you can lose weight from stress, it is of course not good, this weight loss usually comes from unhealthy factors such as a loss of appetite, poor food choices or an increased metabolism due to chronic stress.
It is not a sustainable or healthy way to lose weight and can even cause serious health problems. It is much more important to feel good about yourself. Stress has many negative effects on your health, both physically and mentally.
