Still many people have found it challenging to grasp my approach to living, learning, thinking, and doing
It’s a bit crazy! Although not
everyone, still many people have found it challenging to grasp my approach to living, learning, thinking, and doing. Looking back, I realize that those who didn't know me often felt uncomfortable or found it easier to avoid me. My quick thinking and different (hollistic) perspective, sometimes made me hard to engage with. Being “different” can be challenging and frequently misunderstood, but I've found comfort in staying true to myself, embracing my authenticity, and believing that what I perceive is not crazy or impractical—it’s simply ahead of its time.
In my youth, I sought to understand these reactions, and now, as I've grown older, I see that my thoughts are often in visionary mode, looking for solutions, connections, and development. I’m grateful to be surrounded by like-minded people who share a similar way of thinking—it's an awesome and warm feeling. Receiving recognition, validation, and feeling appreciated for what I say, do, and feel has been incredibly rewarding. I long for a deeper democracy in our lives.
Let’s see what 2025 has in store! I was inspired by a post about embracing doing less instead of more.
Cheers to that! And towards inclusivity, diversity, and equality!
