I'm thrilled to share that within my first week back at HUB168 | The Art of Living in the New Year of 2025 so many nice uplifting conversations took place! Like for instance Selwin Umar he surprised me with a delicious cake to celebrate my 10 years of dedication and participation within Roosendaal on Stage.
Looking back, I realize that those who didn't know me often felt uncomfortable or found it easier to avoid me. My quick thinking and different (hollistic) perspective, sometimes made me hard to engage with
The Art of Living! For me it’s enjoying the adventures and little things of the day! Like meeting people, celebrating, having fun and reflect on what this all means in ups and downs in a bigger perspective.
As being myself a Clock Sector Expert, I am also participating in getting my Peer Review Certification so I’m doing the trainee ship, both in-person and online in the Netherlands, as well as online in London with Michelle Escoffery and Eve Horne. All with a great vibe.
Can I ask you something? In my daily life, I also speak to a lot of unknown people. All need some form of attention and there is a great need for it. They often like to be heard and seen in what is important to them. In the many conversations, this often comes up! And it gives me pleasure to be able to offer it. So...
Robert invited me 🙏🏽to become part of KULTURSISTEMA, in this way we as CCSI can be more visible in the world! 🌎 Check out my profile here: Kultursistema - Hub168 Ismène Elbers ↗ https://kultursistema.app/entidad/hub168ismene-elbers Kultursistema, is a platform dedicated to the Cultural and Creative Sector & Industries (CCSI). Together, we're committed to making a meaningful impact in the creative community!
The past few days, I had the privilege of attending Creative Skills Week in Amsterdam. Alongside Denise Stanley-Chard CLOCK Your Skills, we connected with European organizations and representatives, each sharing their insights on the developments in creativity and future skills.
CLOCK Your Skills Netherlands The global arts and culture sector thrives on the work, entrepreneurship, expertise, and creativity of countless art professionals. To give more recognition to the knowledge that creative professionals have gained through practical experience, CLOCK is organizing an International Sector Expert Bootcamp in the Netherlands this fall. This bootcamp, specially designed for creative professionals (with or without formal art education), leaders, innovators, advocates, and mentors in the cultural and creative sectors, offers a unique opportunity to elevate your skills and knowledge alongside other creative professionals.
🎨🎶💡Creative minds, pay attention! Are you a self-taught artist, musician, designer, or someone dedicated to creativity? Have you ever wished for your talent to be officially recognized, without any formal training? Then this is for you!
The quote that Sifan Hassan shared and pushed her to the limit to win gold at the Olympics! Her purity and perseverance, her story of a girl from Ethiopia who ended up in a shelter in the Netherlands and then started running. She radiates incredible passion, not nonsense but power that everyone thought she was crazy, she proves that there are primal forces in us humans.
This is a significant milestone for our country, opening doors for collaboration, growth, and regional integration. The work starts now, and we are excited to contribute to and benefit from this vibrant community. Let's build a stronger Caribbean together! #Curaçao #CARICOM #RegionalIntegration #CaribbeanUnity
CLOCK strengthens and makes the creative sector more sustainable by creating visibility and acknowledging what you have learned, made and done yourself. Even if you have already obtained a diploma or degree, deepening is a valuable experience in collaboration with an international network.
