During my busy days filled with meetings all over the world, the WORLD BOXING team continues to work hard on improving the membership of our organization.

An important meeting took place at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Germany in Frankfurt with several African NOCs to discuss the current situation in Olympic-style boxing and the roadmap for involving new African National Federations in WORLD BOXING mission to secure boxing’s place in the Olympic Movement.

This weekend marks my first official visit to France after the Fédération Française de Boxe became a member of WORLD BOXING. This beautiful country has produced many honorable Olympians in boxing, and many more will undoubtedly emerge in the future.

Africa is the second-largest continent in the world, with a population of nearly 1.4 billion people, and it should undoubtedly have the future in Olympic-style boxing. This was one of the main topics of discussion during my meeting with the President of the National Olympic Committee of Egypt, Mr. Yasser Idris.

My appreciation to the WORLD BOXING team for the tremendous work we accomplished together over the past days in Lausanne. It’s helping us move forward on our mission to preserve boxing for future generations.

We started it with productive working sessions with the IOC in Lausanne. I’m proud of every member of our team who participates in these sessions and dedicated their time to working on the many topics that help secure boxing's place in the Olympic Movement

Productive working group sessions are already underway, with more to come throughout the week. Stay tuned as we work to shape the future of our great sport!

The second World Boxing Elite Championships for men and women will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, in 2027! Congratulations to Kazakhstan on winning the bid to host such an important event. The countdown is on!

Over the past twelve months, we have remained increadibly active, persistent and dedicated to our mission. It has been increadibly challenging and yet remarkably fruitful period. The entire World Boxing team has been working tirelessly every day to secure boxing's place in the Olympic Movement. Today, we are much closer to that goal than ever.

More than 160 fighters from 25 National Federations representing five Continents will compete in the city of Pueblo, USA, and I’m confident they will deliver high-level boxing for the fans.

WORLD BOXING was launched to improve our sport for the better. Every day, our team unites all efforts to pursue this mission. Today, I am pleased to announce the World Boxing Equipment Licence Programme, which will ensure the highest safety standards for boxers in training and competition. This is another major step forward in transforming boxing, with more to come in the near future.

Boxing is deeply rooted in Mongolian culture, playing a key role in promoting a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation. This was a central point in my meeting today with Nomin Chinbat, Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia.
